Panjab University Employees Cricket Team is all set to play 18th All India T-20 Vice- Chancellors Cricket Cup 2022 beginning 2nd November, 2022 at Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Hissar after a gap of 3 years due to Covid 19.
Around 28 teams of different Universities across India will be participating in this event. Among prominent players playing, include Mr. Surinder Singh Captain, Mr. Amrinder Singh Bajwa Vice-Captain, Mr. Naveen Pathak, an all-rounder etc.
Panjab University has been participating in such Cricket tournaments for many years and has secured positions too. In the 17th tournament which was held at University of Kolhapur, PU secured place in quarter finals.
Prof. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh extended his best wishes to the Cricket team and inspired them with his encouraging words.
