Panchkula, May 20: Mrs. Simarjit Kaur, Joint Commissioner of the Panchkula Municipal Corporation, conducted a surprise inspection of Sectors 9, 15, and 19 today. During the visit, she reviewed sanitation systems, secondary collection points, and Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs).

While inspecting roads and internal streets, she directed the concerned officials to ensure prompt repair of damaged roads and street infrastructure. Emphasising improved sanitation standards, she instructed Assistant Sanitary Inspectors (ASIs) and sanitation staff to ensure regular and timely cleaning of all designated points to prevent any accumulation of waste or filth.

During the inspection, Simarjit Kaur also reviewed the special collection boxes installed at the Municipal Corporation office under the “Zero Waste” and “Plastic-Free Panchkula” initiatives. These boxes have been placed within the office premises to encourage officials, employees, and visitors to deposit used plastic bottles and other plastic waste, supporting proper collection, recycling, and environmentally responsible disposal.

On this occasion, she also observed decorative green installations made from old tyres, along with well-maintained plantation arrangements across the inspected sites. The Joint Commissioner directed officials to further strengthen recycling and waste management initiatives alongside routine cleanliness efforts in the city, with the aim of enhancing environmental conservation.

Simarjit Kaur stated that keeping Panchkula clean, green, and pollution-free remains the primary objective of the Panchkula Municipal Corporation. She instructed all officials and employees to carry out their duties with full dedication and responsibility. She also appealed to citizens to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in maintaining cleanliness and to dispose of waste only at designated collection points.

 One of the waste collection bins installed on the premises was fabricated by Arjun and donated to the Corporation by the Meshaan Foundation, as part of ongoing support for cleanliness and waste management initiatives.

पंचकूला, 29 सितंबर- उपायुक्त श्री सतपाल शर्मा ने आज नवीन लघु सचिवालय भवन, सेक्टर 1  में स्थित  ई.वी.एम वेयरआउस का  निरीक्षण किया। 

इस अवसर पर उन्होंने वेयरहाउस पर लगे ताले की सील चैक की और ईवीएम, वीवीपैट वेयरहाउस में लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरा, बिजली की व्यवस्था और अग्निशमन यंत्रों की जांच भी की। इसके उपरांत उपायुक्त ने फस्ट लैवल चैकिंग रूम का निरीक्षण किया। उपायुक्त ने वेयरहाउस के बाहर तैनात गार्द का भी निरीक्षण किया तथा सुरक्षा उपायों की जानकारी ली। उन्होंने ईवीएम लाॅग बुक में भी एंट्री की। 

इस त्रिमासिक निरीक्षण का मुख्य उद्देश्य जिला प्रशासन के अधिकार में रखी गई इलैक्ट्रोनिक वोटिंग मशीनों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करना है। उपायुक्त ने चेकिंग के उपरांत अपनी निगरानी में वेयरहाउस को सील करवाया और सील को चेक भी किया।

Panchkula, July 15 – The Haryana Health Department is accelerating efforts to improve healthcare infrastructure, workforce, and services across the state. The department has hired 720 new doctors and is actively working to fill remaining vacancies in hospitals.

This was stated by Health and Family Welfare Minister Arti Singh Rao during a press conference held in Panchkula today. She said 785 medical facilities across the state—including Primary Health Centres (PHCs), Community Health Centres (CHCs), Sub-Health Centres, and Civil Hospitals—are slated for upgradation. Of these, administrative approval has already been received for 534 facilities, with the rest under process. Regular coordination meetings with the Public Works Department (PWD) are being held to expedite construction and renovation work.

The minister highlighted the state's extensive efforts to increase First Referral Units (FRUs), which offer specialized maternal and newborn care. In 2014, Haryana had 41 FRUs, which have now increased to 87. Additional FRUs with specialist services are in the pipeline.

She also spoke about the Ujjwal Drishti Haryana Abhiyan, a first-of-its-kind statewide campaign launched this month to provide free spectacles to school children and vision correction for citizens above 45 years of age. Over 1.4 lakh spectacles have already been distributed simultaneously across 22 district hospitals, 50 sub-divisional hospitals, and 122 community health centres. Eye examinations of nearly 21 lakh students in 14,267 government schools are underway, and approximately 40,000 students identified with visual impairments will receive free eyeglasses.

The minister informed that Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini is set to inaugurate several health infrastructure projects worth approximately ₹2,256 crore across all districts, and lay the foundation stones of additional projects totaling ₹594 crore in the coming month.

She further shared that the number of MBBS seats in Haryana has risen from 700 in 2014 to 2,185 today. With new medical colleges being established in Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri, another 300 MBBS seats will be added by end of this year. The number of PG (MD/MS) seats, which stood at 289 in 2014, has increased to 874. To bolster nursing education, six government nursing colleges are under construction. The Rewari college has already been inaugurated, while construction of the remaining five colleges is over 90% complete.

In the domain of AYUSH, Haryana will establish Shri Krishna Ayush University in FY 2025–26 on 100 acres in Fatehpur village, Kurukshetra. The university will offer 63 BAMS seats, 82 PG seats, and 63 seats for Diploma in Pharmacy. Additionally, Ayush Herbal Parks will be established in Rewari and Jind, and a Government Homeopathic College is proposed in Chandpura village, Ambala. A 25-bed Homeopathic Hospital has already begun functioning in Rampur-Sarsehdi Community Centre to support this initiative.

Responding to a question on sex ratio, the Minister said the numbers have been steadily improving over the past 2–3 years due to strict enforcement. Reverse tracking of suspected illegal  abortions is being carried out, and over-the-counter sales of MTP pills have been banned, contributing to a positive shift in the trend.

 जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद द्वारा विश्व पुस्तक और सतलुज पब्लिक स्कूल ने कॉपीराइट दिवस बड़ी ही धूमधाम से मनाया। इस दिवस पर स्कूल के बच्चों व पुस्तकालय के पाठकों द्वारा बुकमार्क और प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया।  श्रीमती सुषमा गुप्ता, मानद महासचिव, कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि थी, हरियाणा राज्य बाल कल्याण परिषद, चंडीगढ़ द्वारा माता सरस्वती के सम्मुख दीप ज्योति जलाकर पुष्प अर्पित करके कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया तथा विजेताओं को प्रमाण पत्र व ट्रॉफी देकर सम्मानित किया। 

मानद महासचिव ने बताया कि विश्व पुस्तक दिवस को अंतरराष्ट्रीय पुस्तक दिवस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है इस दिन का मुख्य उद्देश्य पुस्तके पढ़ना और कॉपीराइट के महत्व को उजागर करना है उन्होंने बताया कि किताबें ऐसी शिक्षक हैं जो बिना कष्ट दिए बिना आलोचना किए और बिना परीक्षा लिए हमें शिक्षा देती है पुस्तकों का मूल्य रतन से भी अधिक है क्योंकि रत्न बाहरी चमक दमक दिखाते हैं जबकि पुस्तक अंतकरण को उज्जवल करती है। 

कार्यक्रम के विशिष्ट अतिथि डॉ कृत सराय, सह अध्यक्ष/निदेशक, सतलुज ग्रुप ऑफ स्कूल ने बताया कि यह किताबें और पढ़ने के आनंद को बढ़ावा देने के लिए एक उत्सव है दुनिया भर में किताबों के दायरे को पहचानने के लिए यह उत्सव मनाया जाता है हम सबको किताबें पढ़ने और उनके महत्व को समझने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना चाहिए और जितना हो सके मोबाइल से दूर रहना चाहिए।

इस मौके पर श्रीमती शिवानी सूद,  जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी, पंचकूला ने बताया कि बाल भवन, पंचकूला द्वारा पंचकूला में कालका में दो पुस्तकालय चलाए जा रहे हैं। जिसमें लगभग 2000 पाठक सदस्यता ले चुके हैं विश्व पुस्तक दिवस के अवसर पर बाल भवन सैक्टर 14 के पुस्तकालय में जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी द्वारा भी माता सरस्वती को पुष्प अर्पित किए और सभी पाठकों को मिठाई खिलाई गई। इस पुस्तकालय में बच्चे अपने विषय अनुसार पुस्तकालय की पुस्तकों से लाभ उठाकर सरकारी, गैर सरकारी, डॉक्टर, वकील, हरियाणा सिविल सर्विसेज, इंजीनियर इत्यादि की परीक्षा की तैयारी कर नौकरी प्राप्त कर रहे हैं इसके साथ बाल भवन पंचकूला में कंप्यूटर, सिलाई एवं कढ़ाई, ब्यूटी केयर इत्यादि कोर्स  करवाए जाते है जिसमें प्रतिदिन 300 से 400 लड़के/लड़कियां लाभांवित होती हैं जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद, पंचकूला द्वारा मिनी बाल भवन कालका में भी एक पुस्तकालय, कंप्यूटर, सिलाई एवं कढ़ाई, ब्यूटी पार्लर इत्यादि कोर्स करवाए जा रहे हैं सभी कोर्सों में जरूरतमंद लड़कियों में गरीब है परिवार के बच्चों को मुफ्त प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया जाता है। 

इस मौके पर श्रीमती सरोज मालिक, बाल कल्याण अधिकारी, हरियाणा राज्य बाल कल्याण परिषद चंडीगढ़, परिषद के कर्मचारी, सतलुज पब्लिक स्कूल के अध्यापक व अध्यापिकाएं मौजूद थी।

पंचकूला, 12 अप्रैल      जिला में रबी सीजन 2025-26 के दौरान  सरसों की खरीद तथा उठान का कार्य सुचारू रूप से चल रहा है। सरकारी खरीद एजेंसियों द्वारा जिला की मंडियों में से अब तक 6945 मीट्रिक टन गेहूं की खरीद की गई है।

     इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए खाद्य एवं आपूर्ति विभाग के प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि सरकारी खरीद एजेंसियों हैफेड और हरियाणा वेयर हाउसिंग कारपोरेशन द्वारा पंचकूला, बरवाला और रायपुररानी स्थित अनाज मंडियों में गेहूं व सरसों की खरीद की जा रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि हरियाणा स्टेट वेयरहाउसिंग द्वारा बरवाला से 4319 मीट्रिक टन गेहूं,  रायपुररानी से 2422 मीट्रिक टन और हैफेड पंचकूला द्वारा 104 मीट्रिक टन गेहूं की खरीद की गई है। 

इसी तरह हरियाणा स्टेट वेयरहाउसिंग और हैफेड द्वारा 252 मीट्रिक टन सरसों में से 107 मीट्रिक टन सरसों की खरीद बरवाला अनाज मंडी से और 145 मीट्रिक टन हैफेड द्वारा रापुररानी अनाज मंडी से की गई। इसी प्रकार हैफेड और हरियाणा स्टेट वेयरहाउसिंग द्वारा 194 मीट्रिक टन सरसों का उठान किया गया जिसमें से 84 मीट्रिक टन बरवाला अनाज मंडी से तथा 110 मीट्रिक टन रायपुररानी अनाज मंडी से शामिल है।

 पंचकूला, 12 अप्रैल — हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी "गांव चलो" अभियान के तहत शनिवार को जिला पंचकूला के गांव रामगढ़ की चौपाल में पंहुचे। मुख्यमंत्री ने यहां भगवान शिव के मंदिर में पूजा अर्चना कर आशीर्वाद लिया और प्रदेशवासियों के सुख—समृद्धि की कामना की। इसके उपरांत मुख्यमंत्री ने मंदिर में झाडू लगाकर साफ सफाई कर ग्रामीणों को स्वच्छता का संदेश दिया। उन्होंने प्रदेशवासियों को हनुमान जयंती की बधाई व शुभकामनाएं भी दी। उन्होंने रामगढ़ के विकास के लिए 21 लाख रुपए की राशि देने की घोषणा की।

 मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी की सोच है कि चुनाव हो या न हो, प्रदेश के प्रत्येक गांव में नेतागण जाकर लोगों का हालचाल जाने व ग्रामीणों की समस्याओं का समाधान करें। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले 10 वर्षो में प्रदेश में विकास के द्वारा जो परिवर्तन आया है वो जनता के सामने है। विपक्ष के लोग सिर्फ चुनाव के समय ही गांव, कस्बे व शहर में जाकर लोगों से लुभावन वायदे कर उनके वोट हथियाने का प्रयास करते थे, लेकिन जनता ने उन्हें नकार दिया है। आज प्रदेश में ट्रिपल इंजन की सरकार है तो विकास भी ट्रिपल गति से ही हो रहा है।

 उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सरकार किसी के साथ भी अन्याय नहीं होने देगी। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले 10 वर्षो में प्रदेश की सड़कों का सरकार ने कायाकल्प किया है। आज रामगढ़ से सहारनपुर जाने में 45 मिनट लगते हैं।

 उन्होने अपना अनुभव साझा करते हुए कहा कि पिछले कुछ महीनों में मुख्यमंत्री निवास पर लगभग डेढ़ लाख लोग उनसे आकर मिले और 75 हजार लोगों की समस्याओं का सरकार ने समाधान भी किया।

 श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि हमारी सरकार की सोच थी कि प्रदेश में हर 20 किलोमीटर पर कॉलेज होगा, जिससे प्रदेश की बेटियों को उच्च शिक्षा के लिए ज्यादा दूर न जाना पड़े, ये सपना हमारी सरकार ने साकार किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा किसानों की सभी फसलों को एसएसपी पर खरीदा जा रहा है। इसके अलावा, किसानों की भलाई के लिए इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर खड़ा किया जा रहा है। रेवाड़ी में एशिया की सबसे बडी सरसों तेल मील तथा कुरूक्षेत्र में सूरजमुखी किसानों के लिए बड़ी तेल मील बनाने की सरकार की मंशा है। इससे उस क्षेत्र के किसानों को लाभ मिलेगा।

 इसके उपरांत, मुख्यमंत्री ने रामगढ़ गांव स्थित सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र का निरीक्षण किया और वहां उपलब्ध स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के बारे जानकारी ली। साथ ही उन्होंने सोलर आंगनबाड़ी केंद्र में पहुंचकर छोटी बच्चियों से बातचीत की और उन्हें चॉकलेट देकर आर्शीवाद दिया।

CII Haryana organised its Annual Session 2022-23 in Gurugram which was attended by over 150 participants. During the Session, Mrs Anjali Singh, Executive Chairperson, Anand Group was elected as Chairperson of CII Haryana State Council 2023-24 and Mr Raaja Kanwar, CMD, Apollo International Ltd was elected as the Vice Chairman of the Council.

Speaking further, Mr Relan said that these technologies will enable the manufacturing industry to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. Mr Relan mentioned that the manufacturing sector must be prepared for organised manufacturing plants where supply chain, design team, production line, and quality control are coordinated into an intelligent engine that provides insights.

In his address, Mr Rajiv Gandhi, Past Chairman, CII Haryana & ED & Member of the Executive Board, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd said that many companies have realized that ‘smart’ and connected production systems that are designed to sense, predict, and interact with the real world can not only increase productivity, energy efficiency and sustainability but also avoid sudden shutdowns of manufacturing facilities or disruptions in raw material supply.

Mrs Anjali Singh, Chairperson, CII Haryana & Executive Chairperson, Anand Group said that advanced digital technologies are transforming manufacturing processes, products and services and as new business models are emerging they are delivering commercial value and catalysing growth opportunities. She emphasised that finding the right mix of investments in incremental, breakthrough and radical innovation across the whole range of innovation areas in manufacturing is of paramount importance.

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh Gian Chand Gupta heard the grievances of people at Janata Darbar held at HUDA Field Hostel, Sector-6 here today and redressed most of the grievances on the spot. He patiently listened to the grievances and directed the concerned officers on phone to resolve the same at the earliest.

A delegation of Old Panchkula Market Association met Sh Gupta and apprised him that they have been earning their livelihood for the last 50 years, but now the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started the process of removing their shops located on NH-22 towards Kharak Mangoli for the purpose of widening of roads and construction of roundabout. The delegation requested Sh Gupta to intervene into the matter and ensure that their shops are not lifted until an alternative place is provided to them. Sympathetically considering their demand, Sh Gupta assured the delegation that he would take up this matter with the higher authorities.

On the complaint of charging more than the prescribed fees for various government services at Common Service Centers (CSCs), Sh Gupta spoke to the Deputy Commissioner on phone and asked him to constitute a three-member committee. He said that this committee would make a surprise inspection of the CSCs located in the district and ensure that only the fee prescribed by the Government is being charged from the people. If any CSC is found charging more than the prescribed fee, its license should be canceled immediately, he asserted.

While taking cognizance of a complaint regarding assault by the police in a case of dispute between two brothers in village Ramgarh, Sh Gupta directed the Commissioner of Police on phone to investigate the matter and take action against the guilty.

In another case of village Ramgarh , Numberdar Gurmeet Singh complained to Sh Gupta that open electricity wires are hanging at many places in the village posing threat to the villagers. Despite repeated requests to the officials of the Power Department, the wires have not been removed yet. On this, Sh Gupta directed the concerned SDO to remove the wires and submit a report in this regard tomorrow.

Chief Minister takes stock of two development projects of Panchkula

This R-Day ROB at Sector 19 will be dedicated to the public

Construction work of Municipal Corporation building should be completed at the earliest, Manohar Lal

Chandigarh-

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today took stock of two important development projects of Panchkula and directed the officials to complete the work at the earliest. Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta and Mayor, Sh. Kulbhushan Goyal also accompanied the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister inspected the under-construction railway over bridge being built at Sector 19 at a cost of about Rs 30.54 crore. The officers concerned apprised the Chief Minister that most of the construction work of the bridge has been completed. Only the work of laying the slab is left, which will be completed in this month.

Sh. Manohar Lal directed the official concerned to expedite the work so that this ROB can be dedicated to the public on the Republic Day. The officers concerned assured the Chief Minister that the said work will be completed by January 20, 2023.

The Chief Minister said that this ROB is a long pending demand of the Panchkula residents and upon its completion, the residents especially those living in Sector 19 will have better commuting facilities.

Earlier, the Chief Minister also took stock of the new office building of Panchkula Municipal Corporation being constructed at Sector- 3 at a cost of about Rs 29 crore and took detailed information about the work as well as the construction agency concerned that is doing the said work.

Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officer concerned that the construction agency should complete the building work as soon as possible. He said that no laxity will be tolerated regarding time and quality in the construction work.

Haryana Government notifies the scheduled time limit of eight more services of ULB under RTS Act, 2014

Chandigarh November 17:

Haryana Government has notified the scheduled time limit of eight more services of Urban Local Bodies Department provided to the citizens under Right to Service Act, 2014.

Sharing information in this regard, Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal said that sanction of building plans in original municipal limits, Town planning schemes, Improvement Trust schemes, Rehabilitation schemes, regularized colonies and notified colonies for all plot size and other uses (except institutional and Commercial use/sites of 1000 sq meters or more) having no composition offence will be approved within the time frame of 20 days from the receipt of complete documents.  Similarly, Sanction of building plans in the original municipal limits for commercial/institutional uses for the sites 1000 sq meters to 5000 sq meters will be approved within the time frame of 60 days from the receipt of complete documents.

Divulging the details, Sh. Kaushal further said that Sanction of building plans in the original municipal limits for commercial/ institutional uses for the sites 5000 sq meters and above will be approved within the time frame of 60 days from the receipt of complete documents. Similarly, sanction of building plans (CLU granted sites upto 5 acres in Municipal Corporation Gurugram and Faridabad) having no composition of offence will be approved within the time frame of 20 days.

Sh. Kaushal further said that sanction of building 20 plans (CLU granted sites, except sites upto 5 acres in Municipal Corporation Gurugram and Faridabad) having no composition of offence will be approved within 20 days.

Similarly, change of land use permission for the units situated within controlled areas of the State within the Final Published Development Plan of the Controlled Area and confirming zone will be approved within 60 days from the receipt of complete documents.

Sharing further details, he further said that Issuance of permission granting of advertisement rights Haryana Municipal Corporation advertisement under Byelaws, 2018 and Haryana Municipal advertisement Byelaws, 2019 will be approved within 60 days. Similarly, the work of repairing potholes of roads will be completed in 5 days.

BBMB organized 'on the spot' State Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation

Panchkula November 14:

‘On the spot’ State Level Painting Competition on ‘Energy Conservation 2022’ was organized by Bhakra Beas Management Board (as the Nodal Agency for States- Punjab, Haryana & UT- Chandigarh) at Inderdhanush Auditorium, Sector 5 Panchkula on the occasion of Children’s Day today.

 The painting competition was for the classes 5th, 6th and 7th (Group ‘A’) and 8th, 9th and 10th (Group ‘B’) and thereafter 330 participants – 55 children from each Group of each state/UT were shortlisted for this competition.

​Sh Banwarilal Purohit,  Governor of Punjab and Administrator UT, Chandigarh graced this function as the Chief Guest. Sh. Sanjay Srivastava, Chairman, BBMB, welcomed the Chief Guest on his arrival at the function and the Chief Guest along with Chairman, BBMB and other senior officers of BBMB inaugurated the function by lightening the ceremonial lamp. Students of BBMB DAV Public School, Nangal presented a cultural programme.

While addressing the gathering , the Chief Guest appreciated the enthusiasm of the children from the states of Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh as well as their awareness towards the energy conservation. He congratulated the winners while giving cash prizes of Rs.50,000,  Rs.30,000 and Rs.20,000 to first three winners of each Group of each State/UT. Ten consolation prizes for each Group amounting to 7500 were also given to the runner-up participants from each State/UT.

Sh. Sanjay Srivastava Chairman, BBMB in his address, while appreciating the paintings of children, said that these children are the future of Nation and have the potential in them by depicting ‘energy conservation’ theme into such beautiful paintings and to inculcate good habits in their surrounding localities in effective manner. Sh. Balvir Singh Sinhmar, Director, Security and Consultancy cum Nodal officer, BBMB delivered the vote of thanks.

HSLSA celebrates National Legal Services Day

Panchkula November 9:

Haryana State Legal Services Authority celebrated National Legal Services Day at PWD rest house, Sector 1 here today by creating awareness amongst students about the significance of legal services day as well as legal services being rendered by legal services authorities.
​​Sh. Subhas Mehla, District and Sessions Judge-cum-Member Secretary, Haryana State Legal Services Authority was also present on this occasion.
He addressed the gathering about the role of legal services institutions in accessing justice through various Alternative Disputes Resolutions available for resolving legal issues including Free Legal Aid, Mediation, Lok Adalats .
​​During the event, competitions like Quiz, Debate, Slogan writing were organized amongst the students of Devi Dayal College of Law, Barwala. More than 50 students participated in the competitions. Dr. Puja Jaiswal, Faculty Law, Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Ms. Sampreet Kaur, CJM-cum-Secretary, DLSA, Panchkula and Ms. Neha Gupta, Advocate, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh graced the event as jury members.
Cultural events were also presented by team of Haryana Kala Parishad.
Haryana State Legal Services Authority has acknowledged the winners by giving trophies and certificates to them. More than 150 students and co-ordinators of different legal literacy clubs attended the event including Panel Advocates of District Legal Services Authority, Panchkula.

CET exam conducted in a systematic and smooth manner

About 7,53,000 candidates took the exam in four shifts in two days

Panchkula , November 6–

The Chairman, Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Sh. Bhopal Singh said that the Common Eligibility Test (CET) has been conducted in a systematic and smooth manner. He expressed gratitude towards the Haryana government and its entire staff for successfully conducting the examination. He especially expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal and said that the state government had made arrangements for free travel for the candidates, which was highly commendable.

Sh. Bhopal Singh said that a total of 11,36,897 persons had registered for this examination. NTA (National Testing Agency) and after perusal of Haryana Staff Selection Commission, 10,78,864 applications were found correct and 58,033 applications were rejected due to duplication or incomplete applications. A total of 9,52,408 candidates out of 10,78,864 applicants have downloaded their admit cards. On the basis of these downloaded admit cards, NTA conducted the examination in four phases as scheduled on November 5-6, 2022.

He said that the examination was organized by dividing all the candidates into four phases. This examination was conducted in 17 districts of Haryana and Union Territory, Chandigarh. The maximum 65 centres were set up in Hisar and the least 9 centres were set up in Yamunanagar. Few centres were set up in Yamunanagar due to the annual Kapal Mochan Mela which is scheduled to be organised in Yamunanagar today.

Sh. Bhopal Singh informed that along with N.T.A., the commission also imposed duties of its members and employees. He himself and the Secretary of the Commission were keeping a close vigil on the activities of all the districts and centres from the control room set up at his office. The problems addressed were removed immediately by contacting the concerned centres. The complaints coming on the toll free number located in his office were sent directly to NTA, which was resolved by dispatching to the officials of NTA. The Nodal Officer of the Commission, CET Observer and Secretary of the Commission, Sh. Virat played an important role in conducting the examination.

Sh. Bhopal Singh informed that in this two days examination, about 7,53,000 candidates appeared in four shifts and the percentage of candidates who appeared for the examination was about 70%. He said that it is a matter of contentment that no cheating case was reported from any district. He expressed his gratitude to all the employees who conducted the examination smoothly.

NHM, Haryana organizes 10 kilometers walkathon

Panchkula November 5:

The National Health Mission (NHM), Haryana, under the Fit Health Staff Programme, organized a 10 kilometers walkathon at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, in Sector-3 here today.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of National Health Mission, Haryana said that officers and staff of Health Department including office of NHM, Director General Health Services, Haryana Medical Services Corporation Limited (HMSCL) participated avidly in the walkathon.
He said that a 50 meters race was also organized for the little champs of NHM staff. They were felicitated with the award for their participation.
