Institute of Educational Technology and Vocational Education, Panjab University Chandigarh organized two days outreach programme for the senior secondary students of Humanities stream of rural and urban Government Schools of Chandigarh on 31/01/2023 and 01/02/2023.
Dr. Kanwalpreet Kaur and Dr. Rekha Rani were the Coordinators of the programme. Students were made aware about the different courses/careers available in Panjab University and other Universities after passing 10+2 (Humanities) such as Five year laws, Four years integrated teacher education programme, courses in Fashion Technology, Social Sciences, Hotel Management and tourism etc.
Also, a session on training of various life skills such as decision making, critical thinking and self management was conducted for the school students to train them for their better future. The students and teachers of schools were overwhelmed and a positive feedback was received from them.
