Lady Governor Anita Kataria Engages with Children at GRIID
Chandigarh, March 28:
The Lady Governor of Punjab, Anita Kataria, visited the Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRIID), Chandigarh.
During her visit, she spent meaningful time interacting with children with intellectual disabilities. She warmly engaged with the students, appreciated their efforts and talents, and encouraged them with affection. She also distributed sweets and fruits among the children, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere.
The Hon’ble Lady Governor keenly observed the activities and rehabilitation services at the institute. She interacted with teachers and staff to understand the educational, therapeutic, and vocational programmes for the children and appreciated their dedication, compassion, and tireless efforts towards holistic development.
Shri Mandip Singh Brar, Home-cum-Health Secretary was also present on the occasion.
